You will have to rely on keyboard shortcuts and the Tab button to navigate through options and menus. However, if do not have access to a secondary pointing device or a trackpad, you can use your keyboard to execute the solutions on your PC or laptop. If you are on a laptop, you can use the provided trackpad to navigate your way through the system. However, we will go through every possible solution to help you resolve the Logitech mouse not working issue on your Windows 11 PC or laptop.īefore we proceed to the solutions, it is worth mentioning that if you use your Logitech mouse as the primary pointing device on your PC or laptop, you might want to switch to a working mouse to execute the below solutions. Now, there can be various issues that might cause Logitech mice or any other pointing device to stop working in Windows 11. I didn't have that choice, as I bought mine off a friend directly from a warehouse, not a retailer.Wrapping Up Fix Logitech Mouse Not Working in Windows 11 While honestly in your place I'd probably return it and get a G502, it's up to you. So you just need to adapt to it over time and it works fine, and I didn't have issues using regular mice either, it was a smooth transition. Most mice have the sensor in the middle, so rotating the mouse doesn't move the cursor, but this one doesn't (For some reason). This mouses's sensor is on the right-most edge of it, where any sort of rotation results in an upwards motion. I found it's down to how you use the mouse and how you expect it to behave that's miss-matching, and the mouse isn't the problem. In fact I quite like the mouse now, the original batteries I put into it back when I made this post are still alive, the 2 side buttons work wonders for me (bound them to system volume up/down) and I sometimes find uses for the infinity scroll wheel. Honestly I mostly gave up on it, and over the course of ~2 weeks got completely used to it (or the mouse fixed itself, can't tell which) because it doesn't bother me at all anymore. I downloaded SetPoint and it said my M705 mouse was unsupported and I needed to use the Logitech options software instead, problem is, I'm repeating myself, the Options software is pretty horrendous, it allows me to change the mouse sensitivity, bind all the buttons, and also allows me to select inverse scrolling, no acceleration, no customization, nothing. Aka I can't even control the acceleration on the mouse, there is no option for it in the Logitech options app or on windows, that might be one part of the problem. Also, I can only use the Logitech Options driver, not the "SetPoint" that was written in all the reviews, that has almost 5x more options and customizability. It's definitely possible, but I'm unsure if there is any easy way to do so out there aside from pure code you write yourself :/Įdit: It's a tad bit better if I set the sensitivity to default, though I usually put it 1 notch up because my screen is pretty big at 27 inches and I like to be able to travel the entire length in a little arm twist. I will probably get used to it within a year, but would really want to know, if there is any way to change the sensitivity of the y axis without touching the x axis in software?. I'm on windows 10, using a HyperX Fury mousepad, but it also was the same without the mousepad on my desk. I've also read reviews of people talking about this problem, but they were the minority, most gave it a 5/5 and clearly didn't have this issue. My previous mouse, the M171(5$ mouse) doesn't have this problem: If I try to just rotate it in a circle, it always goes in a very specific out of shape circle: If you wish to be added to the sidebar, please provide the mods with proof of connection with your company through mod mail.īe sure to check out our sister peripheral/input subreddits:īasically the title, I've bought the Logitech M705 mouse, and it's extremely difficult to get used to, the mouse pointer moves horizontally almost at 2x the speed it does vertically, at least definitely feels that way :/ Roccat - /u/RoccatAndi /u/TeamROCCAT /u/ROCCATLeuchtrakete Razer - /u/Razer_TheFiend /u/seeson /u/Cult_Of_Razer /u/razer-right /u/Razer_Pebo /u/razerbenz Logitech - /u/LogitechG_Coonrad /u/Logitech_CSLaurie /u/logi_jim /u/logi_pr /u/logi_as /u/logi_dm /u/logi_ss Lethal Gaming Gear - u/dheisman21882 /u/xSEEBEEx Glorious - /u/woox13 /u/GloriousZaper u/GloriousBIG /u/GloriousEmpress /u/GloriousPanther_ /u/GloriousKeem Welcome to /r/MouseReview!
